NYS BOATER SAFETY COURSE

The 2011 NYS Boater Safety Course will be held at our Marine Blue Inc location. We are located at 5350 North Street, Canandaigua, NY 14424. The tentative dates and class times are listed below.

March 4th 2012 9am to 5pm

April 15th 2012 9am to 5pm

May 6th 2012 9am to 5pm

June 3rd 2012 9am to 5pm

The instructor charges a $40 fee for this course. If you are 18 or older, in addition to the class fee, you will be required to mail NYS Parks a $10 fee for your boating safety certificate at the completion of the course. Adults and children (10 and over) may register for this course. Space is limited to 30 participants.

Our classroom sessions are listed on our site as well as the New York State Parks & Recreation website. Our schedule is posted as an intended session, however we are required by the state to have a minimum of 6 students to host a course. If we do not meet this minimum requirement, we will cancel and accommodate these students with another class, at another date and time.

If a student needs to reschedule a class they are registered for, they must notify us a minimum of 24 hours in advance of their already scheduled class. They will have the option to complete the course up to 1 year of their original registration.
